hi there,being a great eric clapton follower(FAN)i can tell you that this bootleg is false.eric did not play with dire straits in november 1988 in new york.in fact he was on a tour of a few dates in japan.maybe this is some of the songs mark knopler played with eric in japan(sting was there and elton on sme dates)

and the "bootleg" isn't false the artwork is which is the case at least half the time with bootleg covers.
what it "is"....is Dire Straits & Eric Clapton in a GREAT set that is unofficial and NOT commercially released. Personally I don't give a darn where or when they played & it was recorded.
I typed that up quickly and on re-reading it want to stress I didn't mean to sound sarcastic. please don't take it that way...........just trying to do 12 things at once. :)
Anyone else having trouble downloading part 1? Part 2 and other stuff here, no problem, but part 1 I've tried 4 times, peters out after a while to like 4kbps, eventually stops...???

Other downloads doing the same thing for others. I've had trouble myself with different downloads?
