I agree Dino some people got nothing better to do,than complain.Hell I can't tell the difference in Flac and MP3.From what I've heard those that keep flac files could be in for trouble down the road.
You are totally right Dino! please, leave us the Flack alone! If you burn a Cd from a well encoded MP3 and you play it on a good stereo set, the CD will sound good and that's all! Encode using LAME and you will see! And all these Flac maniacs, I would like to see their stereo sets, really ;-) And last but not least, YOUR SITE IS GREAT! 'NUFF SAID!

Keep up the great work and don´t pay attention to the flac fans. I spend a lot of time downloading flacs that I´m going to convert to mp3 anyway. Besides, at 320 kbps the difference is so small you can´t notice. You have a really great blog. Congrats.

You tell 'em Dino. Most flac "stealth" recordings are CRAP!!! I've been collecting boots for years, and I know for a fact that 90% of those recordings don't lose quality from being converted to MP3; you can't lose quality when there wasn't any to begin with! To quote the great Muddy Waters:

FLAC is great when you're expecting it, but most of the time when I download a disc that I'm expecting to be mp3, I get kind of pissed. I just want to load it into my ipod and play. If I really want to enjoy something, I'll go grab a dts disc. If it's something I've never heard before, but I can get a clean soundboard? I'll take the mp3 easily.

Tell them to get the Flac out of here! I cannot believe how much some people are complaining. Wake up and smell the coffee guys! Those who complain should take note how much these bootlegs would cost them if they paid. I had this big debate on my message board for a week... Flac is OK for Bittorenting or DC++ but does not fit with blog post with a single download link. Anyway I never made the difference since I always rip between 224 & 320.

2 problems:
